Gotta Help a Kitty Out
I brought my adorable bundles of joy, Hoss and Allie, to their forever home when they were just 9 weeks old. These mischievous siblings, offspring of a long red-haired tabby mom and a big gray dad, caught my attention with their playful antics. I knew they had to stay together because of their inseparable bond.
When I first met Hoss, he greeted me with a chorus of high-pitched chirps that clearly expressed his displeasure. I quickly learned not to mess with him! On the other hand, Allie, my little daredevil, was found hiding in the midst of a bush. As I cautiously reached out to grab her, she pulled back, testing my resolve. These two were cheeky from the very beginning!
As soon as they entered their new kingdom, I opened their carrier and released the tiny whirlwinds. Chaos ensued! They scaled my curtains and turned me into their personal climbing tree. Unfortunately for me, their wild climbing adventures left me with some battle scars.
One unforgettable morning, after an exhaustive search, I discovered Hoss and Allie emerging from the depths of my couch. They had created a massive hideout in its back. Oh, the lengths they would go to play hide-and-seek! And let's not forget Hoss's little bathroom adventures. He had yet to master the art of using the litter box, resulting in spontaneous pee parties throughout the house. With some strategic advice, I moved a litter box into the bedroom, closely monitoring Hoss's every move. And success! With a little guidance, he learned to aim for the right spot and even got the hang of covering it up after a couple of days.
Fast forward to 2024, and my mischievous duo has reached the grand age of 14. They're still bursting with energy and keeping me on my toes. Last year, I even managed to teach them how to shake for a tasty treat, adding some tricks to their repertoire. They are my beloved family, and I cherish every moment with them. Here's to many more delightful and joyful years together!

AllieAllie is my feisty, bossy tortoise shell kitty. She’s almost twelve years old but she’s still my lively baby girl. She loves to play and explore, and she knows who she is. I’ve learned a lot from her. She loves watching birds and playing with her toys, especially her balls. When she’s in the mood, she chases them down and brings them back! Very smart girl! She loves to cuddle on the couch and nap in the sun near the window. She does go outside from time to time and I put her on a harness and a leash because I don’t want to lose her. I read about so many escaped cats and dogs. She’s my ride-or-die girl!

HossHoss is my sweet baby boy. My orange tabby and brother of Allie. Yes, they look completely different. They are two from a litter of six kittens and I picked them both because they were always playing together. Mom was a long hair tabby and Dad was a big gray. He loves to be around people and enjoys being the center of attention. He cuddles and naps with me as long as I do not disrupt his sleep. If I do, he makes a cranky meow sound and leaves! I mean! He does love sleeping with his sister in a sunny window they share.
